Gosh I haven't updated in forever!!! So much new stuff going on....new paintings, teaching online painting classes, two upcoming publications featuring my work, new videos....like I said, lots of stuff! I'm sure you all know how that goes....only so many hours in a day and always so many things to do. And when you throw a busy 4 year old boy into the mix...well let's just say that doesn't leave much time for Momma's stuff.

I'm currently busy working on original paintings for a big show coming up here in Portland in a couple of weeks, so I probably won't be posting any more more new originals until the second week in October. But I've put lots of prints in my online shop [link] if you'd like to take a peek.

Gosh have things gotten busy around here lately! Thankfully we've had a few sunny days here and there, which has helped tremendously in my getting anything done. I haven't worked on beads or jewelry in what seems like forever now...about the only thing I manage to fit in is painting and drawing...and that's only because I can steal moments here and there during the day while Aiden's running around. Although, it's still very hard to get a painting or a drawing finished with such a big distraction....but I don't mind. He's such a sweetie pie and a big time Momma's boy, so I'm enjoying that while I can. All too soon, he'll want nothing to do with his ol' Momma. He's growing up so fast!!!

I've posted a painting I'm working on and a few recent drawings in the gallery. I'm working on on getting more realistic in my drawings...thought it might help me with my paintings. Hope you'll peek in on them in the gallery.

Hey ya'll!

Just wanted to pop in and wish everyone a happy new year...things have been crazy around here...have been sick ALOT, took a trip back home to visit family, now I'm recouperating from the long trip, trying to get the house cleaned up from the chaos created from being sick so much and all the stuff we brought back from our trip...and then of course I got sick AGAIN!!! I'm feeling better now...still a little sniffly, but better. Yea!

Aiden's first day back at preschool was yesterday. He had a bit of a fever the beginning of the week and I thought he'd miss his first day, but he woke up yesterday all better and all excited about going back to school.
